1967, MAJOR SEMI-FINAL | RABBITOHS 13–8 DRAGONS
Facing an old rival and 11-time defending Premiers, the Rabbitohs entered the SCG to the roar
of over 51,000 rampant fans. In a tight affair the Rabbitohs came out on top, earning a chance to
create history with a 17th Premiership.
1984, MINOR PRELIMINARY FINAL | RABBITOHS 22–18 SEA EAGLES
Facing the Sea Eagles and their vaunted line-up of “Silvertails”, a no-nonsense Rabbitohs outfit that
embodies the club’s fighting qualities comes from behind to post a stirring four-point victory.
1988, ROUND 14 | RABBITOHS 16–4 BRONCOS
Running out onto the new Sydney Football Stadium and facing a star-studded Broncos side including
six Origin stars, the competition newcomers proved no match for a battle-hardened Rabbitohs side.
1999, ROUND 19 | RABBITOHS 22–12 BALMAIN TIGERS
As a cruel twist of fate sees the club excluded from the competition after 1999, a bittersweet late-season
victory is clinched against the Tigers, as the Rabbitohs give their fans reason to hope for the future.
2002, ROUND 2 | RABBITOHS 30–22 RAIDERS
Following their readmission into the NRL and playing like a team with everything to prove, the Rabbitohs
showed they were back in business with a hard-fought victory over the Raiders in Canberra.
2007, ROUND 24 | RABBITOHS 37–12 WESTS TIGERS
Years of heartache are washed away in 80 minutes as the Rabbitohs demolish Wests Tigers in front
of a stunned crowd at the fortress of Leichhardt Oval, securing the Bunnies’ first finals appearance
since 1989.
2008, ROUND 16 | RABBITOHS 29–28 COWBOYS
Trailing 28-4 with only 29 minutes remaining, the Rabbitohs rattled off 24 unanswered points to draw
level with the Cowboys. With only moments remaining, Chris Sandow snapped a clutch field goal,
completing the greatest comeback in Rabbitohs’ history.
2012, ROUND 19 | RABBITOHS 24–22 ROOSTERS
With the team firing and a finals berth all but secured, a never-say-die attitude sees the Bunnies
come home with a wet sail against archrivals the Roosters, scoring two tries in the final two minutes
of the game.
2012, SEMI-FINAL | RABBITOHS 38–16 RAIDERS
With their finals temperament questioned, the Bunnies have a point to prove against the energetic
Raiders. Shaking off any doubters, the Rabbitohs secure their first finals win in 25 years with an
emphatic victory.
2013, ROUND 7 | RABBITOHS 20–12 SEA EAGLES
The Rabbitohs stated their Premiership credentials in a brutal encounter with fellow contenders the
Sea Eagles at Brookvale. Racing out to 20-0 lead in the second half, the Rabbitohs weathered a late Sea
